New Delhi: The Central Government has canceled the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Std. 10 examination and postponed the Std. 12 examination in view of the current state of Corona. Will be taken.
The decision was taken at a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today. Union Education Minister Shri Ramesh Pokhriya while giving information said that Std. 10 examination has been canceled and students will be given promotion on the basis of internal marks. While both the exams were to be held between 4th May to 7th June but now Std. 10 exam will not be held. The standard 12 examination has been postponed till May 30 and after reviewing the situation on June 1, a decision will be taken about the new date of this examination. Thus it has become a state of relief for millions of students in the country. Now following this decision, a decision will be taken regarding the standard 10-12 examination of Gujarat Board.
New delhi date. 12:. Due to the growing threat of Corona virus, the Government of India has taken a big decision to conduct CBSE exams. CBSE Std. 12th standard exams have been avoided while 10th standard exams have been canceled.
Today, Prime Minister Modi held a meeting with the Education Minister and officials of the ministry and a decision was taken.
As per the order, the 12th exams to be held from May 8 to June 15 have been canceled. Another meeting will be held on June 1 and a decision will be taken based on the situation. Students will be notified 15 days in advance if an examination is held.
It may be noted here that amid the Koro crisis, the chief ministers and leaders of several states had appealed for the cancellation of the exams. 4 million students in the country were to take this exam.
Rahul Gandhi and Kejriwal also demanded cancellation of the exam.
An important decision has been taken by the Central Government today regarding the CBSE Board Examination to be held in the country. Std.12 board exams will be postponed. Thus, the state governments of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh have decided to postpone the state board exams.
Students will be promoted
Thus, the board examination in Std. 10 and 12 of CBSE is to be held on 4th May. The examination will be conducted in two shifts as per the schedule announced by the board. Earlier, the All India Student Association has also demanded the postponement of Std. 10 and 12 board examinations.
