Today, as technology evolves, so do cyber fraud and personal data theft.  LinkedIn's platform was hacked in April.  Now 9 such Android apps have been traced, which are stealing the login IDs and passwords of Facebook users.

This information is obtained from the report of Doctor Web.


Experts from Doctor Webb believe that these 9 viruses are very dangerous mobile apps.  These apps have been downloaded 5,856,010 times so far.  This app allows a valid Facebook web page https://www.facebook.com/login.php to be uploaded to the webview after obtaining the settings permission using a special mechanism.  After this, the application steals the Facebook user's log-id and password through JavaScript.  However, these mobile apps have now been removed from the Google Play Store.

 More than 1,000,000 users have downloaded this application.  This app is created by the mobile app HscopeDaily momo.

 Rubbish Cleaner


 This is a performance optimizer application.  This application has been downloaded over 1,000,000 times and was created by SNT.rbcl.

 App Lock Keep


 The app has been downloaded by over 5000 users on the Google Play Store.  This app is created by Sheralaw Rence.

 Inwell Fitness


 This is a fitness app.  This application has been installed over 5,000,000 times.  Information from its developers is not available.

 Horoscope Pi


 This application has been downloaded by over 1000 users on Google Play Store.  This mobile application is developed by Talleyr Shauna.


 Lockit Master


 This application has been downloaded 5,000,000 times.  Not much is known about this.
