Solar bicycle made by a student from Tamil Nadu, 50 km cost only Rs.  1.50

The country is witnessing a steady rise in petrol-diesel prices.  The price of petrol has crossed Rs 100 per liter in many parts of the country and states. 

 Inflation has taken its toll.  A college student living in Madurai, Tamil Nadu has built a solar-powered bicycle to fight rising petrol prices.

The cost of running this solar bicycle up to 50 km is only Rs. 1.50

Student Dhanush Kumar has built a solar bicycle with the help of solar panels.  What is special about this bicycle is that it can run up to 50 km on a single charge.  It can run up to 20 km even after the battery is discharged.  

The cost of running 50 km by this solar bicycle is only Rs. 1.50.  The cost of this bicycle will also be less and the pollution will be reduced
