Navratri was not celebrated last year due to Corona , but this year the situation has eased a bit and street riots have been allowed in Gujarat . Street garba can be organized with a limit of 400 people . However , Garba is not allowed in club and party plots . With this , according to the announcement made by the state home department , the curfew time has been extended by 1 hour from tomorrow night . From now on there will be a night curfew from 12pm to 6am.
The night curfew in eight towns ends on Saturday, September 25. Navratri starts from October 7. In this situation, the new government of Gujarat has taken an important decision with the reduction of night curfew and new guidelines for organizing street garba in Navratri. These decisions have been taken in an important meeting held by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel with Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi. In the 8 metros of the state Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot, Surat, Bhavnagar, Junagadh, Jamnagar and Gandhinagar, the curfew is in effect at night from tomorrow from 12 noon to 6 am on October 10.
Commercial celebrations of Navratri will not be allowed in party plots, clubs, open spaces or any other place in the state.

Restaurants in the state will now be able to continue with 75% of capacity by increasing what was previously allowed to continue with 60% of capacity for 10 hours a night. Public gardens in the state which were earlier open till 9 pm can now also be kept open till 10 pm.
